What is World of Geniuses?

World of Geniuses is a research and education project. Its team develops Quantum G to explore children’s early ways of processing information through specially designed tasks.

The project also plans an education system built around individual profiles. That system is being developed separately from today’s assessment.

What does “genius potential” mean here?

The project uses “talent” for working skilfully with existing knowledge and methods. It uses “genius” for creating a fundamentally new idea or invention by finding a new underlying principle. That changes the basic idea behind how a problem is understood or solved.

Quantum G looks for early processing patterns that the project calls “genius potential”, or PLN-P. A link between those patterns and later invention is a hypothesis being studied. Learning, environment and sustained practice still matter.

Who can take part, and what do they need?

The .com offer is for children physically in the United States who understand, speak and read English, and can count to at least 20. A parent or legal guardian stays present without helping with answers.

The setup needs a touchscreen tablet or laptop, a suitable front camera and a stable connection. Both the child and parent must stay visible on camera; the sessions record video and audio for analysis. A phone is suitable for reading this introduction; testing requires the larger device.

How is the profile made and used?

Quantum G analyses task performance and behaviour during the tasks to infer an early processing profile, called PLN-P. This is an interpretation of responses, not a direct measurement of brain activity or a prediction of future invention.

The method describes initial pilot work and further studies of reliability, profile stability, comparisons with other assessments and later development. Families should read a profile alongside their own observations, teachers’ observations and other assessments when relevant. The report gives guidance for supporting a child; it is not a diagnosis or a ranking of children.
